, originally having launched for the Wii back in 2011, has made its way to the Wii U on the Nintendo eShop. The game is available right now as a digital download for only $19.99.
Nintendo sent out the word as the action-RPG became available on their latest home console (though soon it may be getting replaced with the Nintendo NX if the rumored device is actually a home console).
The game wasn’t terribly well received when it first launched almost five years ago, but the general gist behind the story is similar to other tragic tales like . The official description for the game reads…
It came out around the time when another tower-related game released… . The Koei Tecmo third-person shooter was like a poor man’s , but it also shared a lot of similarities with Nintendo’s , insofar that you had to battle your way through each tower and fight the bosses in order to beat the game. I don’t really remember the plot all too well because it was one of those crappy games that was literally just a poor man’s , and why play an imitator when you could play the real thing?
As for … it was one of the few JRPGs on the Wii that really seemed to stand out despite the console being riddled with shovelware. That and Hironobu Sakaguchi’s from Mistwalker Studios were a couple of the noteworthy JRPGs that left lasting marks on Nintendo’s previous gen console.
